we were at another level of covid 19 when this article came out just over a year ago from the Washington Post, that can easily piggyback on our discussion of gun control ie government control….as you read, you will learn that the governor of Colorado signed into law ie government control, a law that says hospitals can turn away new patients if they are full or close to full capacity….the full capacity is because of rising numbers of covid cases….as an example, this means that if you need elective surgery for a medical condition (ex: colorectal surgery to treat diverticulitis), hospitals can turn you down and turn you away, or send you someplace else….the state government will determine the status (full capacity or not) and then order the hospital to not admit anybody, transfer/redirect, etc….well, what if the hospital that you are required by law to transfer to is at maximum capacity, too?…..I’d like to suggest that if you are against gun control, then you are also against all other government controls as well…….hmmmmmm…..some things to think about….YOUR COMMENTS?
