the Great Depression was a severe worldwide economic depression in the decade preceding World War 2. How did the Great Depression affect American society? Between 1933 and 1936, President Franklin D.Roosevelt introduces a series of domestic programs to counter the Great Depression. How did Franklin’s New Deal help America out of the depression? Was the New Deal a success or failure?
