answer : Constitutional powers of the president is :

The national security powers of president :

1- Serve as commander in chief of armed forces.

2- Make treaties with other nations, subject to the agreement of 2/3 of the Senate

3- Nominate ambassadors with the agreement of majority of the Senate.

4- Relieve ambassadors of other nations, thereby conferring diplomatic recognition on other governments.

The legislative power of the president :

The president’s legislative powers are somewhat limited. This is because Congress is responsible for most of the legislation that takes place.

1- Present information on the state of the Union to Congress.

2- Recommend legislation to Congress.

3- Convene both houses of Congress on extraordinary occasions.

4- Adjourn Congress if the House and Senate cannot agree.

The judicial powers of president :

1- The president is responsible for appointing 15 cabinet members.

2- Nominates judges to the Supreme Court, which is the highest court in the country. must be comfirmed .

The most important powers of the president is Commander in chief of the Armed Forces and the president can appoint nine justices of the Supreme Court. Also, the some of the checks upon the president powers is the president can veto a law. The president can check the Supreme Court by granting pardons.

Funding fathers said : A republican form of government in which the elected representatives chooses the public policy on the citizens behalf.
