From the learning activities, it evident that nutrition is very important for children because it has a direct link with other aspects of development and growth. As stated by Simopoulos & Meester (2009), when a child is fed on a diet with balanced omega fatty acids, there is a high possibility that the child’s brain activity and other capabilities will have a solid foundation. In the same way, when a child is fed on a diet with low cholesterol and fat, the chances of preventing common heart diseases are reduced significantly.
