Financial ethics

question

Research financial ethics using the recommended reading articles, corporate websites, and other articles you find concerning ethics in finance. Financial ethics in this sense is a broad term covering most areas of business ethics. In your assigned team, create a 15-20 slide PowerPoint presentation about financial ethics, using the following questions as guidelines in preparing your PowerPoint:

In what ways are finances in a company reflective of a company’s values? Consider things like budgets, debt, investments, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and capital management.

How has a specific organization dealt with a breach of financial ethics in the past? Was the reaction sufficient?

What ethical guidelines pertaining to finance should an organization develop beyond the legal requirements? Give examples of good policies pertaining to ethics in finance.

Use APA citations and include a reference slide. The notes section below the slides will contain the words you would be speaking if you were to give the presentation in person. If you have no notes beneath a slide, your audience will assume that you would remain silent while showing that slide in person. Please use and cite at least three sources, including at least one peer-reviewed or scholarly article.

Become the experts on your topic and be prepared to answer questions from your classmates. Your presentation will be graded on content, organization, presentation, and depth of research.

Each person on the team should submit your PowerPoint presentation to the assignments folder. In addition, one member of the team should post your PowerPoint on the discussion board as an attachment to the first discussion board activity thread in Week 5. This will give your peers the opportunity to learn from your presentation and ask questions.
