Expanding operations and territories can be quite a daunting task as it requires lots of research. This includes visiting one’s country of choice so as to find out their consumer habits and patterns. It is imperative that a thorough background research is done so as to know the costs of operating, the regulations of territory the company intends to venture into, the demand of the business and the capability to keep up. In 2008, Nestlé’s top priority was to merge with other companies so as to mitigate competition and to increase growth.
