Comparisons between the ethics of care and more traditional approaches to ethics based

Essay, Philosophy
Explain and evaluate the ethics of care, as presented in Justice and Care, edited by Virginia Held.

Project description
In the course of your essay, be sure to draw some comparisons between the ethics of care and more traditional approaches to ethics based upon rational, impartial rules or principles of justice.
Apply your ideas to one of the following scenario, and explain how (if at all) an ethics of care might differ from or improve upon a more traditional approach to the problem:

ABC Manufacturing is an American company that produces sportswear that is sold throughout the world. Like any business, ABC is interested in maximizing its profits. Outsourcing some aspects of production to foreign factories saves ABC a great deal of expense, keeps the selling price of goods down, and results in more profits for its shareholders. ABC is often criticized for sending jobs overseas, and for tolerating child labor, low wages, and other poor working conditions in its overseas factories, as well as for allowing pollution and other environmental hazards that are not regulated in the countries in which they operate. They argue that they comply with all local laws and practices, and are entitled and even obligated to do what works best for their business; and they say that ultimately lots of people benefit. Is
ABC being unethical?
