I agree, but disagree at the same time. Kinda seems like a trick question. The reason for the in-between is because when it comes to saving yours or someone else\\\’s life or sometimes feelings. There are life rules or laws how ever you want to put it; like murder, or hurting kids or elderly are unacceptable. But say you are in a situation where lying will not only save your life and the lives of others. Like finding out the guy you been seeing is a murderer. You would have to lie to get away. In that since it would be ethically permissible.
Other than those types of situations honesty is the best way to be. I remember getting caught stealing candy and trying to lie my way out if trouble, but it not working and feeling the embarrassment of being caught and feeling bad for doing it at all and having to give it back and apologize. I didn\\\’t ever want to steal or lie again. Not that I haven\\\’t because sadly 8t is true that everyone lies.
Think about the role that ethics can play in these situations. Ethics seem to play a big role.
If it wasn\\\’t for morals, and the feeling of knowing when you are wrong 8s important.
What would it be like to live in a world with no lies whatsoever? I don\\\’t know because, it could go either really good or be really bad.
