Ethical concerns in government and corporate funding

In my own opinion there are ethical considerations regarding conflict of interest in corporate and government funding of sociological research. Ethical considerations which guide researchers include; objectivity, accuracy, plagiarism, confidentiality of information etc.  The money used in sociological research comes from either government or corporates and therefore there is bound to be a conflict of interest in the research process and several ethical considerations may be violated such as objectivity, accuracy and confidentiality.
