Select up to three podcast episodes to listen to and write up. Your write up should be approximately 1-2 pages (double spaced) and should include
(1) Your name and the title of the episode (with a link to the episode)
(2) A summary of the episode– (such as) What topic was the episode exploring? How did the hosts introduce or explain that topic?
(3) Your running commentary- (such as) How does this relate to material from class? What was unclear in the episode? Did any concepts become clearer? Were any examples particularly helpful? Where have you seen (or how could you apply) this concept to the world around you?
(4) Your write up should be clear and well written. Typos and grammatical mistakes should be minimal.
Each write up will be worth 0-2 points.
All the episodes listed below are from Planet Money and Think Like an Economist (or The Indicator from Planet Money). These podcasts tend to be relatively short (approximately 10-30 minutes) and easy to digest. Below are three episodes particularly relevant for section 3.
