Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve is a department under the department of Defense and is recognized for the promotion of healthy and supportive working environments. There is a law that has been established under this department which is referred to as Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act of 1994. This law was established and signed by the then president, Bill Clinton in 1994.
