Consider your current employer or a previous employer as a point of reference, and you are the department head.
According to research, everyone is motivated differently. For this activity, I want you to take into consideration the following generations and how you would motivate them (Baby Boomers, Generation X, Generation Y, and the Millennial). This activity will require you to conduct a little research on these generations (a little research meaning for you to just get an understanding of each in a superficial manner). Then, based on your findings, identify how you would motivate each of these generations to be successful in the workplace. . The student will respond to the question from the professor in a 400 words minimum post. The student will use at least two outside source when responding to the discussion question from the professor. The student must show in-text citations and references at the bottom of their post. The student will also respond to at least two of their colleagues on both discussion boards. Quality of work, coverage of the subject, proper punctuation, and APA is also the focus on this grading assignment. Please Note: Do not include any direct quotes that require word-for-word statements. Also, please do not attach a discussion board. Please post directly to the text.
