Thinking as an economist, as much as possible, describe the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the economic life of your community, the Miami metropolitan area and the United States. In this your last Gordon Rule assignment you should demonstrate your ability to search for and use pertinent economic data i.e., GDP, unemployment, unemployment, job creation and destruction, productivity changes, inflation, government borrowing and spending, etc.
Distinguish between the industries and type of jobs that benefitted from the pandemic and those that were negatively affected. Did the actions of your federal, state or local government have any impact on the course of the pandemic?
