Choose a developing country and write a report on the evolution of economic development

This report should consist of 2000 words (+/-10%) it should include statistics on economic growth; the change in per capita income levels, population, and other relevant statistics that characterise the level of development attained from 1980 to present. This report will also analyse the key reason why the country has performed the way it has over the past decades. This should include reference to the economic theories in the course. This report should describe an economic development process and the different factors that affect this process. Research and gather the key economic statistics that characterise the economic development of the country chosen eg ( income per capita and the Human development index ) it should highlight how this compares with other countries where relevant. The statistics should be organised in a concise way ( tables and illustrations). It should demonstrate a capacity to use economic principles in the analysis of the chosen development story and explain why the selected economy has performed the way it has (reflecting on how these principles fit within a broader global context). The report should be planned and structured so that ideas/concepts are logically linked together. The report should contain at-least 15 references from Academic journal articles and academic books, it should he referenced using Harvard style referencing within text references and reference list in the end.
