Why can we realistically classify the body as a complex biological machine
You should answer these two questions including a post replay. It is a discussion question you don’t need to use resources.
Why can we realistically classify the body as a complex biological machine?
What is the linkage between biodiversity and ecology?
Each post should be substantive and not just quick reiteration of the text. I am looking for your thoughts not book quotations. These grades are important so do take them seriously. They can either make or break your grade. Every posting should be a least 2-3 Paragraphs and include a posted reply to someone else’s post for full credit
Question 1 post reply to a student answer:
The human Body can be classified as a complex biological machine due to the fact the body has multiple biological systems that are important to one another and vital for survival. We have systems like the Circulatory system, the digestive system, the immune system, the muscular system and the nervous system. Each system reliant on the other, like the circulatory system is responsible for flow of oxygenated blood to our organs and muscles, the digestive system extracts nutrients for our body to use from food. The immune system is the bodies defense again foreign substance and disease. The muscular system is responsible for our movement. The most complex is the nervous system as it controls each one of these systems at the same time controlled by our brain. The body can be realistically called a complex biological machine due to all of these systems working simultaneously.
Question 2 post reply to a student answer:
Biodiversity is the variety of life that is in the world/habitat/ecosystem where as ecology is the study of how organisms interact with each other and the environment. The link between biodiversity and ecology is in the organisms. As an environment is more bio diverse if it has more than variety of organisms in it and which makes the habitat more complex allowing for ecologist to study more forms of ecology. As areas of ecology like organismal ecology, population ecology, community ecology and ecosystem ecology become more complex. So as biodiversity increases which means more life increases then you can say there is more room for ecologist to study on how organisms interact with one another and the environment.
