A philosophy of education influences what and how students are taught. A philosophy of education represents answers to questions about the purpose of schooling, a teacher’s role, and what should be taught and by what methods.

Give your philosophy of “Early Childhood Education” – what are your guiding principles about Early Childhood Education related issues, what do think about Early Childhood Education, what do feel the role of the educators should be, what are your thoughts about Early Childhood Education, etc.

Your Philosophy of Early Childhood Education should be at least two pages. Please use Times New Roman, 12 point font, and double space the paper. If you cite or quote any information within your paper, be sure to reference the cite within your paper – APA style.

You have a classroom of several students. Within the classroom you have a student with a disability. But you have to be careful not to be bias or show favoritism toward certain students. Plan an activity for the entire class to complete successfully (that includes the child with a disability). Create a plan that simplifies the activity and breaks it down into manageable steps for all students (including the student with the disability) Be sure to give the age or grade the activity is for and explain what disability the disable student has.

Chapter 5 talks about “Including Everyone”. Be creative to show that you are including all students, including the student with a disability, in the class activity.
