Why do we put less importance on domestic terrorism?
Obviously I do not need to point out that the United States has suffered many terrorist attacks, both before and after 2001. I would classify the events in Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Texas, and Boston as all terrorist attacks. The problem we have here is that we consistently classify domestic terrorism as something less dangerous than foreign terrorism, yet events such as the OK City bombing are just as deadly. Why do we put less importance on domestic terrorism?

Looking at the Cold War from a Western perspective, one could rejoice in the fact that there is no more ‘Evil Empire’, and no more Iron Curtain. In fact, all of the threats and all of the restraints of the Cold War seem to be gone. Should the world be concerned it can no longer in relative, or traditional terms distinguish who the ‘bad guys’ are anymore?
