Research a diversity topic related to the adult criminal justice system

Students will research a diversity topic related to the adult criminal justice system and write a literature review on the topic. Please be reminded, the purpose of a literature review is to review the literature. While your opinions may drive the topic you choose, this is not a paper to express what you think or feel about the subject. The literature review must be a minimum of five pages, DOUBLE SPACED (not including the bibliography) and include at least five scholarly references no more than ten years old. The paper must strictly adhere to the APA format however a title page and abstract should NOT be included. A research question and method for answering research question is not to be included. Possible populations include but are not limited to women, African Americans, HIV, serious mental health, LBGT, etc.
