As part of your Destination City Proposal, you have been asked to research topics related to travel and tourism in relation to your selected city.
Research your destination city to determine current trends within the travel and tourism sector as well as the impact of convention and visitors bureaus.
Write a proposal of 1,050 to 1,400 words in which you discuss your research findings related to your selected destination city.
Include the following in your proposal:
Identify at least four current trends that affect recreation, travel, and tourism within your selected destination city. Describe each trend. What effect do these trends have on hospitality operations in your selected destination city?
What effect do Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) and tourism commissions have on the hospitality industry in your selected city?
Format your proposal consistent with APA guidelines.
