In your professional life, you may need to make a decision based on proven or assumed observations. In this assignment, you will examine the difference between inductive and deductive reasoning, as well as the different parts of an argument to better prepare yourself for when you need to make a decision in the future.

Create a 5-7 slide PowerPoint presentation with a minimum of 50 words of speaker notes per slide. (Please note: The slide count does not include the title and reference slide.)

The presentation should include the following:

A title /introduction slide
5-7 content slides that include:
A description of the different parts of an argument
A definition and example of deductive reasoning
A definition and example of inductive reasoning
Include examples of reasoning by analogy
An explanation of the difference between Deductive and inductive reasoning that includes similarities and differences between the two
A reference slide that includes at least 2 references (the book and at least one outside resource)
References should also be cited in the speaker notes or on the slides where used.

Additional Notes for this assignment:

You should have minimal content on the slides, with most of the presentation content included as speaker notes that represent what would be said if you were giving the presentation to an audience.

The speaker notes should be added to the speaker note section in PowerPoint; see the sample presentation. (Be sure to download the sample presentation so you can see the speaker notes.)
