Complete your course assignment project – a curriculum and instructional model
Instructions
This week, you will complete your course assignment project – a curriculum and instructional model (a curriculum program or an instructional model, or multiple models) that will enable your students to become citizens of the 21-st century through the collaborative efforts of a professional learning community (PLC).
The following is a framework (or thinking process/outline) that you can apply for completing this project:
Introduction: First, you need to have a curriculum plan/program as an intervention for this project. Think about a curriculum program or instructional method that is not effective, or simply, there is a need for innovation to help students learn more effectively in your department or school. So, this intervention or innovative curriculum or instructional model could be a 6th grade English program with blended learning method, or an integrated reading and history curriculum for 10th graders, or a STEM program for 4th graders, or an afterschool career-enrichment program, or an early childhood education program… and so forth.
Explain why this intervention or innovation program/model will work for improving student learning in your organization. Use sources from literature to elaborate and support your belief of why this intervention/innovative curriculum program or instructional model will work. And also include what learning theory underpins this program or model. You should also discuss how the implementation of this program/model will align with and enable the accomplishment of the school vision or mission statement and to support students to become 21st-century citizens

How technology can be integrated into the curriculum design and the curriculum?
Next, for this curriculum program to be successful, who will need to involve (the stakeholders)? What they can contribute to the success of PLC (Professional Learning Communities) (what their responsibilities are)
What would be the characteristics of the professional learning community and the leadership that would support a successful curriculum implementation and for the learner to become the 21st-century citizen?
