Many cultures around the globe identify with totems. The Northwest coast tribe in particular is known for this. If you had to choose an animal to represent you, what would it be and why?
Remember the reasons that they may have used and what the reasons you would choose. Things to think about:
- What does the animal represent in your culture?
- What does it mean to you?
- Is this an animal that you have seen or interacted with?
- What characteristics might you share with this animal? (attributed or actual)
Please be specific to the type of animal. Remember if you choose a dog not all dogs are the same.
Please write a 2 – 3 page paper discussing your choice and the reasons why you chose it. Please answer all of the above in your paper and type your paper in MLA format. Bibliography/Works Cited list REQUIRED in MLA format and not included in page length requirement. Submit/upload to Blackboard in PDF format. This assignment is due at the start of class time, 12:30 PM, on Wednesday, 1 February 2023 and is worth a possible total of 50 points.
