On analyzing the advantages, the point on clarity tries to determine extend with which the point I being understood and this would help an individual in evaluating the issues without being biased. This would involve approaching the issues in different manners depending on their reliefs, beliefs, emotion and opinions.
It can also be noted that the accuracy of the matter can be determined as this evaluates extend of the truth. In this one can oversee how things may turn out. This would involve phrasing the question in the right manner that would achieve the response desired as this also determined the specific of the information. Another advantage is that it helps in communicating and sharing the ideas with the others in an effective manner as the breath of would help in evaluating the issue considering the issue putting all the necessary factors and relationship in place (Paul and Elder, 2019).
However there are also several disadvantages associated with critical thinking as for instance, it brings along arguments and fight as individuals who don’t have the same perspective about the matter would probably think that you are wrong and this may destroy the necessary context and relationships. It also at some point would lead to biasness as the person making most of the decision would conclude the argument in their best interest making it hard to achieve fairness as the issue of big powers gives one big responsibilities. Critical thinking would also make someone think in more depth about something as at some point, you have to achieve fairness, evaluating if the conclusion follow from the evidence and also you have to involve all the aspects involved before deciding on the respective conclusion (Ennis, 2018). The question remains, what is the accuracy of the conclusion made from critical thinking?
