This folder’s writing assignment is asking you to pick a crime. After you pick a crime, you then must outline the reason or reasons a person would give for attempting that crime. The reasons must match one or more of the five techniques of neutralization (You can also use the updated version referred to as “Accounts” that is in the PowerPoint). You should choose a crime that is broad like rape or drug dealing. You should set the short paper up in two parts: the crime and then the neutralization technique.
