Cormoran Strike is a private investigator who had a number of struggles before he was approached by John Bristow, the brother of Lulu Laundry, who was believed to have committed suicide. I think Strike has an advanced set of social skills because he is able to build a rapport with strange people easily.  He has a good sense of humor………………………
