Consumer data is gathered through smartphones, web searches, social media platforms, online purchases, cloud-based storage, GPS systems, and countless other digital avenues. Companies use this data to guide their research, and ultimately, trends inform them of how to best market to consumers.
Find a recent article in the news that relates to consumer privacy and keyword searches. Search online or in the University of Arizona Global Campus Library.
