Groupthink refers to is the sharing of false beliefs that everyone in the group agrees with its judgments (I.L Janis, 1982). It is quite common to note the forces of group think shaping the thoughts and perception of individuals who are in a group especially among teenagers and the youth whereby individuals may regard it as peer pressure. In the issue concerning the blowing NASA’s space shuttle the challenger this phenomenon of groupthink is clearly evidenced especially among the individual’s in the management team hence their reasoning becomes clouded hence culminating in the making of wrong decisions.
NASA is renowned for its scientific progress globally and the pressure to meet the public demand as well as political demand to meet its goals places immense pressure…………….
