As educators, we tend to focus on the learning needs of the students in the
classroom. We often fail to remember the field of education is dynamic; new
research yields new trends. In your thread, create a professional development
plan for yourself over the course of the next few years. Be sure to consider
the following when developing your plan (you do not have to include substantive
information on all points):

Self Assessment. How will you document opportunities for
self-assessment to demonstrate that you are attempting to improve by
professional practice?

Professional Literature. How will you demonstrate that you have read
and are staying current with educational research and educational trends?

Human and nonhuman resources. What human and non-human resources are
available to you as a future educator? How can you start building relationships
with these resources as a student so that you can use them in your classroom and
