You will take the role of a manager in the health information management department of the local community hospital.
For this week’s assignment, you will be creating a training PowerPoint presentation on the ten characteristics of data. Using the above article and additional research, you will be creating a presentation for the local community college and their health information management students. These students are new to the program, and this is an opportunity for them to not only learn about data, but to speak with someone who works in the field. Your presentation will need to contain:
Minimum of 10 slides of content
Clearly identify the 10 data characteristics (according to AHIMA) and provide information and examples for each characteristic
Speaker notes or transcript will need to be included to show what you would say to the students, or you can record the presentation with voice over
APA requirements: Title and reference slides (not included in the minimum count), in-text citations, a minimum of three sources
