Assignment Instructions: This assignment aims to help RN students to reflect on a Clinical experience and gain insight into their own practice. Reflecting on the experience will help the student to understand the challenges they faced and how they can improve their skills and knowledge. By identifying areas of improvement, the student will be able to develop a plan for future growth and development. Additionally, the assignment helps the student to understand the impact of the experience on their personal and professional development and identify actions to take as a result of the experience.
Choose a clinical experience that you found particularly challenging( NICU AT RENOWN HOSPITAL, RENO NEVADA) and write a reflection paper.
In the paper, include the following aspects of the experience:
Description of the experience, including the context (patient population, setting, etc.)
Identification of the specific challenges encountered during the experience
Reflection on your own thoughts, feelings, and reactions during the experience
Analysis of the experience from a nursing perspective, including knowledge, skills, and attitudes
Identifying areas of improvement and potential solutions
Discussion on the impact of the experience on personal and professional development
Plans of action as a result of the experience.
