Assignment Details: Identify a Challenging classroom behavior such as inattention, poor homework completion, or verbal distractions. Use scholarly resources to describe how each of the 6 impediments to managing behavior listed in chapter 2 of your text (medical model, challenging behaviors, concept of control, personal standards/social behavior, contextual variation, and cultural diversity/ethnicity) could result in ineffective management of the challenging behavior.

INSTRUCTIONS
You will complete four (4) Discussions in this course. You will post one thread of at least 275 words by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Thursday of the assigned module: week. You must then post two replies of at least 100 words each by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Sunday of the assigned module: week. In Module 8: Week 8, replies will be due by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Friday. For each initial thread,?you must support?your assertions with at least two citations from two scholarly (peer-reviewed, research-based) resources and one scriptural reference in current APA?format. Your textbook can be used for one of the scholarly resources. An article from a scholarly journal should be used for the other resource. Please avoid the use of blogs and websites. Any scholarly resource cited must have been published within the last five years. The Bible should be included on the reference list, but it will not count toward the scholarly resource requirement. Replies are not required to incorporate scholarly citations or scriptural integration.
