A cannabis plant, similar to other living things, goes through various stages of growth in order to attain maturity. The plant utilizes the same inputs as other plants to grow: sunlight, water and nutrients (Booth, 2015). Since it grows naturally like other plants, a debate ensues on whether this justifies its legalization. This essay argues that the natural growth of cannabis is not a reason enough for its legalization.     

Discussion 

            The growth of cannabis plants is natural similar to other species of plants, only that it occurs in the wild.  The plant does not require to be processed in order to be used as an intoxicant. Despite all that, it is my belief that the usage of cannabis should never be legal anywhere in the world. Cannabis has detrimental effects……………………………….
