Communication is vital for the successful development of positive parent-teacher relationships. Describe how you would provide initial and ongoing communication about the self-management plan to the student’s parents/caregivers. Initial communication would explain the proposed self-management plan to parents/caregivers before implementation. Ongoing communication would be communication provided to parents/caregivers on a regular basis while the self-management plan is being implemented. Why are your chosen communication strategies the most effective choices for the described student and his or her parents/caregivers?
