In this landmark case regarding the rights of gay members of the society, the court declared that it was unconstitutional for any Texas court to prohibit sodomy. This case occurred when police officers upon receiving tip a tip about domestic disturbance arrested two men who were found engaging in homosexuality. When this case got its way up to the Supreme Court, the sitting jury banned similar sodomy laws not only in Texas, but also in other 13 states. In this case, only 3 of the sitting 9 judges were in favor of these laws as they argued…………….
