What is each character’s idea of the American dream?
How does each character’s notion of the American dream relate to her/his identity?
Why do you think this play stands the test of time? How is it relevant today?

Discuss each character’s notion of the American dream and how this notion relates to his/her identity. Provide examples from the play here to back up your findings about how the character’s identity relates to his/her notion of the American dream.

Conclude with how you do or do not relate with one of the character’s ideas of the American dream.
