A natural hazard and a technical hazard

Find a newspaper article (or articles) within the last two years that discusses a natural hazard and a technical hazard and answer the following questions:

Compare the two hazards presented in the newspaper articles. What damages did they cause? What was involved in their response or recovery?
Describe some mitigation and preparation strategies that could help communities prepare for and respond to these hazards. Do you think these strategies are effective?
What are the major differences between natural and technical hazards? What challenges do each present for first responders or the other government agencies that respond to such events?

This assignment aligns with Module 4 Objectives 1-3.
