A Computer Network

A Computer Network: For this paper, I am required to propose a change for business communication class. The topic is about using group presentation. The paper should have a clear thesis with three supportive ideas, each support idea in a separate paragraph. Attached an example of how the paper should be done (a clear thesis, 3 support ideas). I want you to follow the same instructions as in the example paper.

More information: we have had performed 2 individual speeches (Informative speech, Sales speech). I want you to persuade him to use group presentation in addition to those individual presentations.

((the instrutor’s instructions: One-half of the grade will be based on content. First: How accurately and aptly did you describe the element(s) of communication about which you learned? It is critically important that you can fully and accurately describe the phenomenon you are evaluating, because it is fundamentally impossible to evaluate that which one does not understand. Examples are often an important technique for conveying description—did you apply the communication element to an example accurately? Was the example well explained? Did you include the necessary elements of description and discard the unnecessary? Second: How well did you defend your evaluation of the concept? Evaluations may come in many forms. You may choose to evaluate the component’s worth relative to other components we have discussed that week, or perhaps its worth to you as a future business communicator. You are welcome to evaluate negatively (e.g., “Subject X was not worth the time we spent on it.”) Remember, though, that you need to defend and support your evaluative comments—regardless of whether they are positive or negative. Unsubstantiated positive comments (e.g., Ooooh, this was such a neat concept!) will be graded no better than unsubstantiated negative comments (e.g., This course stinks!). Evaluation is a persuasive process: you are attempting to convince the reader (or listener) that your evaluation of the phenomenon is correct. You are not trying to convince the reader that the evaluation is in fact your evaluation. Of course it is. What you are trying to do is convince the reader to agree with you. In the case of the Weekly Report, remember that I am the reader, or audience, whom you are trying to persuade that your evaluation is a correct one. Persuade me.

One-half of the grade will be based on your writing. Have you used clear, grammatically correct writing? Are the words spelled correctly? Is the report in the correct format? Beyond issues of clarity and grammar, is the style compelling? Do you use apt adjectives, is your word choice varied but appropriate, do your verb structures engage the audience? Assume that this is a weekly report written for your supervisor (you know—the person who controls your raise). Write the report in a style that is designed to impress. The heading of the Report should be:

Date: Date of submission

(extra space)

To: Dr. Richard Leeman

From: Student’s Name

Re: Weekly Report # __; (title of subject, e.g. “Feedback” or “The Importance of Feedback:)

(extra space)
With the exception of Weekly Report #5, each Report should be two pages, double-spaced, 11point Times New Roman font, 1 inch margins. Papers that are longer will be graded down. Indeed, I will stop reading after page two. Just like a real boss. Papers that are substantially shorter are not likely to have covered their subject adequately, and will lose points on the Content side of the grade.

Weekly Report #5 Propose a substantive change to the course. This can involve assignments,
readings, lectures, activities, course organization, etc. Be specific in what you
are recommending the action to be (i.e., do not simply suggest the elimination of
something). Be realistic. This report can be up to four double-spaced pages.))

Good morning fellow classmates. I would like to thank everyone for this opportunity you have given me to talk about a computer network. First of all, I would begin by defining the meaning of a computer network. It is means the interconnection of many computers through the hardware and software components so as to enhance communication of the users. The main purpose of interconnecting the computers is to make them a medium of information……………………………………..
