Formating:

For academic writing, the writer is expected to write in the third person. In third person, the writer avoids the pronouns I, we, my, and our. The third person is used to make the writing more objective by taking the individual, the “self,” out of the writing. This method is very helpful for academic writing, a form in which facts, not opinion, drive the tone of the text. Writing in the third person allows the writer to come across as unbiased and thus more informed.

(Write a minimum of 3 good sentences for each; both the process to be improved and the case study should be mentioned in each explanation; the data used in the process should be included in the explanation where applicable.)

Usability High Since the process to be improved is customer and employee scheduling, it has to be given a high importance as it is supposed to makes the shop more effective (Gadde et al., 2012). The shop has to use the system always to capture the specific details of the customers and thus its usability is high.
Maintainability High Systems are expensive and time consuming to create. They need to be maintained and in the most effective way possible. The high rating is because, if the system is not well maintained, then it will not work as effective as it should and the whole process would just have been a waste of time.
Scalability Medium UMUC Haircuts is expected to grow and thus the system should be scalable enough to allow such growth. The medium rating given is because at the moment the shot is looking at the current customers and thus the issue of scalability can come up much later. Thus it cannot be high.
