The difference between profession and craft can be explained from the point of what is involved in each practice. Craft involves making something, say for example making hats. The craftsman has high skills in the trade and often make them entirely from start to completion. All what is required are the raw materials. A profession on the other hand is a service that is less skilled. In this example, the shopkeeper who sells the hats. Thus profession requires less skills in the trade (Morford, 1972)….
