Why did Reagan demand Gorbachev to tear down the Wall?
The wall separated East and West Berlin. Reagan challenged the soviets to tear down the wall so as to liberate the people. It was clear that the people were being oppressed and the wall was the main barrier. There was no freedom or peace. Reagan acknowledged that the Soviet system did not work and people were only being imprisoned behind the wall that is why he called for it to be opened….
