The purpose of the Final Paper is to demonstrate your mastery of the learning objectives stated in this Syllabus. During Week 3, a casino/resort will be assigned to each student. You will need to write a paper (6-7 pages, not including the title page or sources) describing the various functions of your assigned casino resort. You will need to research and discuss how it fits and compares in the market place and the economic impact it creates. Please use APA format. The paper should be double-spaced and you can use images and charts, however, if you use them to “fill” space, you will be graded down (they should have a purpose). Please refer to the Rubric at the end of the Syllabus for guidance on grading. Please use APA format (http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/560/01/). Your final paper will need to be submitted in a WORD document (or format recognized by TurnItIn which will be used to verify originality and adherence to other standards).
