For this journal, please make Small Talk at a professional event with someone who is in a staff or academic position. It could be at the International Coffee Hour where you make small talk with a staff member or professor; at a job fair where you make small talk with representatives from companies; with a secretary or counselor in one of the offices on campus; or some other professional setting with someone who doesn’t know you. It should not be in one of your classes.

Type your 1 page reflection.

Save your document.

Print out a copy of the reflection and bring to class on the due date.
