Human Pot Arts
During the first half of this semester, we have been reading and thinking about visual artists as well as periods of art. Carol Strickland, in her book The Annotated Mona Lisa, reminds the reader that when viewing art there is a difference between “sight and insight.” Tell which period or style of art you find most interesting and why? Tell which artist you find most interesting and why? – Remember, you do not have to “like” something to find it interesting.

Throughout the first half of this semester, I have realized that art is basically a discrepancy between seeing and understanding. Studying art has provided a background and tools that have enabled me to evaluate and escalate great art masterpiece by myself. However, from all other styles and periods of art, I find Renaissance a period that followed Middle Ages much interesting. The reason why I like and find this period interesting is simply because this period ushered in numerous changes………………………..
