Closure will have severe and detectable economic impacts. Military bases prioritize their security and that of their surroundings. The base, through its military police department, conducted various operations to enhance the security of my district. The military police engaged in regular law enforcement patrols to ensure that the area was secure. They conducted the patrols on foot, using bicycles, military vehicles, and air crafts. These patrols minimized the crime rate in the district.
The patrols ensured that the military reinstated their presence in the locality. This presence gave the residents a sense of safety and security. Senses of safety and security stimulated the economic growth of the district. Investors flocked this area because they were guaranteed that their businesses would not be affected by insecurity.
