In this workshop, for the Dropbox written assignment, you will complete a written paper with inclusion of approximately one paragraph for each of the following steps, using similar headings in your paper:

Introduction.

Summarize recent trends in job analysis.

Describe methods for designing a job so that it can be done efficiently.

Describe methods for designing a job to make it motivating.

Explain how organizations apply ergonomics to design safe jobs.

Discuss how organizations can plan for the mental demands of a job.

Explain job crafting.

Consider a job you hold now or have held recently.  Redesign the job using the concepts of job crafting that you have read about in the Harvard Business Review article, and in subsequent research.  Be sure to adequately describe/illustrate the job before applying job crafting concepts and then after job crafting concepts.

Include in the Appendix of the paper a one-page graphic or schema of your redesigned job after applying job crafting concepts.

Conclusion.

Your paper should be 850 words in length, not including the title page, reference page, or one-page job crafting graphic or schema in the Appendix of the paper.

Use APA format. Cite two reference sources, at a minimum, in addition to the textbook and the two resources provided for required reading in this assignment.  Each reference should be at least 3 pages and published within the last 3-5 years.
