With a rise in the concerns over bullying in the school setting, more programs have been created to address the issue. For this assignment, research three “character counts” or anti-bullying programs available for the early childhood classroom setting.

In a 150-250 word table or chart, explain the following:

The background of the programs;

How the program encourages a safe learning environment for young children;

Strategies the program suggests for fostering non-violent behavior and anti-bullying with young children; and

Additional elements that stand out (success stories, school/home connection, training, etc.).

This program was discovered in 1982 where three Norwegian boys were found dead after committing suicide due to bullying.
