Anorexia and bulimia

Are anorexia and bulimia caused by our society? What are the motivations or social pressures to be thin? What are the major sources of these pressures? Are there other cultures where this pressure does not exist?

Anorexia and Bumila are conditions that an individual gets to bring upon themselves because of reasons that are well known to an individual. However, it has been seen that the diseases are caused by influence from the society (Sonenklar, 2011). The society may cause pressure upon an individual who will be forced to decide to reduce his or her weight. Additionally, an individual may have the pressure that is making him or her to gain weight up to a certain level where he or she will ensure that he maintains the weight at any cost possible………………………….
