During the time of Jesus of Nazareth, four groups of the Jewish groups were divided in to five. They included the Pharisees, the Essenes, the Sadducees, the Zealots and the Jesus movement. The groups were divided by their beliefs. However, the Pharisees were more similar to Jesus. Jesus of Nazareth and the Pharisees believed in life after death and in the resurrection of the body. They both emphasized on the Law of Moses especially the importance of being pure though the Jewish were hypocrites………………
