Citation Assistance You are asked to use citation and provide a bibliography for your essay exam. To assist you in this process, here is a list of course materials from this week and how to cite themPreview the documentView in a new window. We’ve created a standardized shorthand for citing individual lectures and several of the websites are cited using n.d. (no date). We recommend using author-date parenthetical citations, the most common method used by archaeologists.Remember, if you use an exact quote or close paraphrase, you need to cite the page of the quote or paraphrase. You can cut and paste all the references you used in your essays from this list (and ONLY the references you use in your essays) to help make creating your bibliography faster. Note that when you create your bibliography, you will need to fill in your access date for websites and delete the guidelines on how to cite. If you draw on any sources from outside the class material, you can use these references as a template for citing them. Please note that this guide is provided for your assistance and you are not required to use it. If you are more comfortable with a different citation format (e.g., APA, MLA) you are welcome to use that format instead. This paper consists of two questions, the first is worth 25 points and the second is worth 20 points for a total of 45 points. You must answer BOTH questions. Your answers should be approximately 700-1000 words each (1-2 single-spaced pages). Essays should be well-structured, edited for spelling and grammar, and properly cited (bibliography is NOT included in your word/page count). Excellent essays will draw on a range of class lectures and readings and illustrate their points with specific examples. It is strongly recommended that you read through the grading rubric before writing your answer. While you may choose to integrate outside material in your answer, there is no expectation that you do so and your answers should focus on course content.Question 1 (25 points)
