Assignment Introduction:
You have studied the three branches of the American federal government along with the powers that have been delegated to each branch in the Constitution. You have explored how the founders of the nation created a separation of powers so that each branch relies upon the other two branches.
This Assignment has two parts:
Write 1 page explaining the branches of government and their role in establishing Separation of Powers.
Read the following article and then answer the question below:

The author of this article states that “[t]he chief constitutional basis of our politics, the separation of powers, is under severe pressure from the institutions and practices of the administrative state.” Do you agree with this conclusion and the author’s points supporting the conclusion? Write a 1–2-page analysis regarding whether you agree with the author’s points and conclusion. Research and include at least two unique examples of separation of power that support your points and conclusion.

Writing should be well ordered, logical, and unified, as well as original and insightful.
Your work should display superior content, organization, style, and mechanics.
Appropriate citation style should be followed.

Submitting Your Work:
Put your responses in a Word document. Save it in a location and with the proper naming convention: username-Course Name-section-Unit x_Assignment.doc (username is your Kaplan username, section is your course section, x is your unit number). When you are ready to submit it, go to the Dropbox and complete the steps below:
Click the link that says “Submit an Assignment.”
In the “Submit to Basket” menu, select Unit x: Assignment.
In the “Comments” field, make sure to add at least the title of your paper.
Click the “Add Attachments” button.
Follow the steps listed to attach your Word document.
To view your graded work, come back to the Dropbox or go to the Gradebook after your instructor has evaluated it. Make sure that you save a copy of your submitted work.
